Tapster at
I won the Asian Tapster competition and was selected Head Tapster for Taiwan. I was originally an engineer – this is my first time working in bar. Being a Tapster is good for our bar, for Pilsner Urquell and for me personally. Our customers treat me differently. I ask them, ‘Do you want to try some Pilsner Urquell?’ and if they say no, I tell them that Pilsner Urquell is the first golden lager, explain the history of Plzeň, tell them how to drink it the right way and they will feel better. Then they want to try it. Pilsner Urquell is new for Taiwan. People still don’t know about it, and I’m proud to bring it to them for the first time.
If you were a beer, what beer would you be?
Before I liked Guinness, but when I came to Czech and tried the real Pilsner Urquell, I said that is a good beer. So now, of course, Pilsner Urquell is my favourite.
